A Solo Club Host welcoming guests at a group day out
A warm welcome can change the whole day.

Good company makes going out feel possible.

Solo Club is creating more ways for people to travel solo or simply find someone to share an experience with. As a host, you’ll help make that first hello easier — whether it’s at a local get-together or on a day out by coach.

Start close to home.

We’re beginning with simple, welcoming ways to meet and explore together.

Local socials

Welcome people at coffee meet-ups, meals, quizzes and relaxed evenings out.

Day trips

Help a group enjoy a market, attraction, coastal visit or seasonal outing.

Shared experiences

Bring people along to a show, local event or something new in your area.

You don’t need to be the loudest person in the room.

Being a good host is about helping people feel at ease. You might welcome the group, help everyone know where to go and be a friendly point of contact during the activity.

  • Be friendly, dependable and considerate.
  • Help newcomers feel included without pressure.
  • Share practical information clearly.
  • Work with Solo Club to plan each activity.

A simple first conversation.
